The Karakorum Range has many extensive granite peaks, most notable being the Trango peak and Nameless Tower, the highest point ‘the Great Trango Tower’ reaches 6,286 m (20,623 ft). A major attraction amongst the adventurers and rock climber from around the world.

Rock climbing in the Karakoram can be world class or terrible depending where you go and which peak is your objective to climb.  At the Western end of the Baltoro Muztagh, north of the Baltoro Glacier the Trango Towers are the Karakoram’s most famous rock. In close proximity are other colossal spires such as the Cathedral Towers, Uli Biaho Tower; Ogri Latok peaks, and Shipton Spire. The Nangma Valley is home to Amin Brakk the Great Tower. The Charakusa Glacier is also excellent with K-7 being the most famous.

This Peak situated in inaccessible the Karakorum Range Baltistan. These valleys have received a lot of climbers in the last ten years or so and there are already various ‘classic’ lines. New routes are being put up every year in these latter areas. Here are great opportunities for new exploration and route development. The Ministry of Tourism, Government of Pakistan made open (free) to climb peaks up to 6500m (without royalty fee) and Liaison officer.
