Unlike other cities and main towns, the Skardu city gets a lot of snow during December and January. This makes life very hard and people tend to stay inside. But during the winters everything around Skardu is different. Lakes are frozen, the river freezes on the banks, mountains are fully covered in snow, the cold forces wild animals to come down from the mountains in search of food. 9. Hunza Valley
